Wood Floor Drying

SERVPRO of Pasadena/Gibson Island/Lake Shore was called to this property because of water damage. The reason the homeowner decided to work with us was because we could dry (restore) the wood floors instead of replacing the wood floors.

Pictured in the before photo are the wet floors with rescue mats.  Rescue mats extract water from water/tile floors.

Floors and carpets often hide water when the water is located in a corner. Many property owners often overlook the corner when looking for water damage. Floors can obviously be seen as wet, but carpet can hide water more easily. If the carpet feels spongy or soggy, you need to identify the source of that water.
