Kitchen Water Line Leak

These before and after photos show water damage in a home caused by a leak in the water supply line to the refrigerator. The leak affected kitchen, linoleum flooring, and basement ceiling.

As you can see from the photos, water intrusion in one can mean water damage in other rooms.

Water from the kitchen searched for pinhole crevices and cracks in the floors and ceiling to travel down to the basement. Surfaces such as wood, drywall and carpet pulled water away from plain site and into the interior of the structure.
